QUIT VAPING GRADUALLY

How to Vape Less Gradually with Quit Vaping

If you want to vape less gradually, start by separating your plan from what you actually record. Quit Vaping combines a gradual plan over several weeks with a session log. This guide explains how to read the daily limit and planned waits, record every session and review each seven-day phase. It does not set a session target or a quitting deadline for you.

Use your daily plan as a reference

Open your plan and check the daily session limit and the planned wait before your next session. A limit is not a target to fill. Compare these planned figures with your logged sessions: the plan describes the intended schedule, while the log reflects the sessions you enter. This guide does not prescribe a number of sessions or waiting times.

Understand what a session records

An active session has a timer of up to 10 minutes. You can finish earlier: ten minutes is a maximum, not a target. The app records sessions rather than individual puffs. A session count is not a measurement of nicotine intake. Fewer recorded sessions alone do not establish a lower dose, especially if their duration or intensity differs.

Log every session, including early ones

Record your sessions as they happen, including those that start before the planned wait has ended. The app marks these as early and includes them in the daily total. For example, if you log a session and vape again before the next planned time, record that additional session too. Leaving it out would make the day look closer to the plan than it was. Compare the planned waits with the times you actually logged, rather than reconstructing the day from memory.

Review each seven-day phase

Each phase lasts seven days. At the end, review the whole week’s entries, including early sessions, alongside the daily limits and planned waits. You can move to the next phase or repeat the current phase for another week; this is your choice, not an automatic result of a low daily count. Use your history to compare your own recorded sessions over time. The log can show when you entered sessions; interpreting how they fit your routine is up to you.
